The Transportation Department at Plainwell Community Schools works hard each day to ensure that all bus riders arrive safely to school and back home again. Skilled drivers, bus maintenance staff and transportation administrators make sure buses are driven professionally and in top condition. With a fleet of 22 buses and special transportation vehicles, PCS provides over 1,800 students with safe and reliable daily transportation service across 75 square miles throughout the district with 1,280 bus stops daily.
The Transportation Department at Plainwell Community Schools looks forward to working hard each day to ensure that all bus riders arrive safely to and from school for the 2024/25 school year.
New for the 2024/25 school year, we are moving to BusRight in-vehicle GPS geolocation system. This system will "enhance student safety, streamline bus communication, and manage routes at the touch of a button". This new option will provide parents and students with real-time access to transportation routes/bus stop locations, estimated pick-up/drop-off times and so much more.
