Julie Trahan’s AP French class from Plainwell High School took a trip to Canada. They visited Toronto, Quebec City and Montreal. A few highlights included the students visiting Notre Dame Basilica of Montreal, Montmorency Falls (tallest in North America) and a few even tried sledding in front of the Chateau Frontenac Hotel (which has been running since 1884). It was a phenomenal trip and amazing experience for these AP students. Special thanks to Mr. Fitz, Ms. Wingle and Ms. Trahan for making this experience possible for our students!

Plainwell Middle School’s Eco Club went on a field trip to the South Kent Waste & Recycling Center, Kent County Waste to Energy Facility and Recycling & Education Center. Students saw how our trash can be made into clean energy. They also learned how recycling gets sorted and how the landfill helps manage our waste. Everyone learned so many new things and had a wonderful experience.

These Kindergarten students had lots of fun doing their 100th day activities - 100 exercises, counting and writing to 100, reading a take home book called Counting to 100, counting out 100 treats and then putting them into their own bag for a trail mix and making 100 day necklaces/crowns! What a fantastic day for these Rock Starrs!
