Thanks to the student's hard work and the generous donations by many, Cooper Elementary’s Fun Run fundraiser was a great success. On Thursday, the Koalas walked, ran, played and enjoyed popsicles at their Fun Run. Thank you to all that donated to make this fundraiser an incredible success, especially the top donors (logos pictured)! Way to go, Cooper Koalas! Special recognition goes out to Lucy Morse (5th grader) whose design was selected as the winner for the 2023 Fun Run t-shirts. 🐨

Students in Mrs. Ramsey and Mrs. TerMeer’s 6th grade science classes used microscopes last week. They first learned how to focus the microscope and how to carefully handle them. Then they were able to look at prepared slides of pond water, insect parts, humans cells and animal cells. Science is fun at the MS!

We are excited to share the Plainwell Middle School Students of the Week! We are proud of your hard work and dedication. Way to go, Trojans! Ivy (6th Grade): Ivy always participates, works hard, and is one of the first to raise her hand. She is helpful and always has a upbeat attitude and a smile. Dallas (7th Grade): Dallas tries his best on everything that he does. He participates in class, asks questions, and is always willing to help out his peers. When he finishes his work he is one of the firsts to help someone else with theirs. Urijah (8th Grade): Urijah is a leader in and out of the classroom. He is willing to work with everyone in class and is constantly competing to become better at everything he does. When friends of his are off task, he stands up for what is right and does not partake. Throughout the year, we look forward to continuing to share our outstanding Middle School Students of the Week! GO TROJANS! Special thanks to our Student of the Month sponsors: Fly Inn, Mayor's Joint, Barbed Wire Cafe and Taqueria San Francisco. We greatly appreciate your support of PCS and our students - Today’s Learners, Tomorrow’s Leaders!

We’re so proud of our Boys Soccer program! They may have lost a tough battle with Otsego last night, but they have showed a tremendous amount of Trojan spirit this season. Last night during the game, they showed their love and appreciation for our Plainwell educators by honoring them before the game. Also, throughout the season after practice, they have went to support our Volleyball team and Swim & Dive team at their competitions. Way to show your support and Trojan Pride, PHS Soccer - GO TROJANS!
