Yesterday, Cooper Elementary held a special awards ceremony to recognize their Cooper Robotics teams. Congratulations to teams - The Rocket and TP Titans - for a great Robotics season!
The second graders from Cooper Elementary had a great adventure today as they went to see the musical “Polkadots” at the Civic Parish Theater in Kalamazoo. These Koalas had a great afternoon. 🐨

PLAINWELL SPRING YOUTH CHEER CLINIC: Calling all 1st-5th grade girls - join the varsity coaches and members of the Plainwell Varsity Cheer team to work on stunting, tumbling, motions, games. etc. Four week clinic from May 1-22 on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 PM in the High School AP Room.

What a special evening at the 2023 Son Day! The night was filled with prizes, surprises, giveaways, magic and laughter at the Performing Arts Center. It was fun for all that were able to attend!

The Cooper Koalas had some very special visitors before leaving for Spring Break – the K-Wings! Mascot Slappy and players Collin Saccoman, Coale Norris and Kobe Roth were surprise guest readers and the students LOVED it! The players shared a story – “It’s Hockey Time, Franklin” – and took time to answer questions. It was a very special time for the Koalas! A very big THANK YOU to Slappy, Collin, Coale and Kobe for taking the time to visit Cooper Elementary during reading month!
Bond construction continues at the Trojan Pool and Gymnasium. Over the last two weeks, we watched as the walls started to go up. So many great things are ahead at PCS!

Students in Mrs. Martin’s fourth grade class at Cooper Elementary had a special guest reader today! Mr. Dunn from the Alamo Township Fire Department was their guest reader, he taught the class about being a firefighter and gave a tour of the fire truck! What a fun day! Special thanks to Mr. Dunn for this great experience for these fourth grade Koalas!

As we approach Friday and the end of another school week, we wanted to share some progress pictures of the new Trojan pool and gymnasium project. During construction this week, they filled the pool tank with dirt. This part of the process both protects the tank and allows for safer processes over the tank in terms of scaffolding for upcoming metal and roofing work.
