“PROJECT UKRAINE”: Two very compassionate Cooper students, Rylin and Parker, recently expressed the desire to do something special for the children in Ukraine. The students created a plan to collect new stuffed animals to be shipped to Ukraine and surrounding countries. Through the generosity of the international organization, Global Empowerment Mission, they were able to secure shipping and distribution of the donated stuffed animals. Once their plan was in place, they presented it to PCS Superintendent, Mr. Montange and their plan became reality. Throughout this week, the Cooper students have generously donated over 150 stuffed animals to “Project Ukraine”. These donations will bring comfort and hope to the children whose lives have been so drastically impacted. Way to go Rylin, Parker and the Cooper Koalas - your generosity is sure to bring joy to many! Plainwell Pride! If you are interested in donating, “Project Ukraine” will be collecting new stuffed animals through Friday, April 29 at Cooper Elementary.

COOPER DUDES: We would like to recognize an incredible group of dads (Mr. Preuninger, Mr. Larsen, Mr. Torres and Mr. Hall) at Cooper Elementary, called the Cooper Dudes! This group visits the elementary each week to eat lunch and play outside at recess…they have a blast, but are also great role models for the Koala students! At recess they practice good sportsmanship and cooperation. Thank you “dudes” for being a part of the Cooper Village and taking time out from your very busy schedules to support Today’s Learners & Tomorrow’s Leaders! Plainwell Pride!
