Congratulations to senior Caiden Schoen and freshman Joshua Pembrook for each earning first division ratings at MSBOA's State Solo & Ensemble event on Saturday held at Portage Northern.
🎶 Josh, as a freshman, earned all A's in every box as a trombone soloist and earned high praise from the judge that evaluated his playing.
🎶 Caiden, a senior tenor saxophone player, was also evaluated on his sight reading ability, and required to perform major, minor, and chromatic scales from memory, in addition to his prepared solo. Caiden was given high scores in every category.
