Due to heat index concerns, the JV and Varsity Soccer games that were scheduled for today (8/23) at home vs. Wayland have been canceled.

Due to heat index concerns, the following PHS events have been changed:
- The Freshmen Football game in Hamilton has been postponed to Friday (game time TBD).
- The JV Football game in Hamilton will start at 7:00 PM tonight (8/23). The bus will be leaving for Hamilton at 5:30 PM.
- JV Soccer and Varsity Soccer - CANCELED

The Plainwell Elementary Tennis Camp that was scheduled for today (8/23) has been canceled due to the heat index. The contingency date for today is Friday (8/25) from 8:00-9:00 AM. If any changes are needed for tomorrow’s camp, we will make the call around 1:30 PM. The contingency date for tomorrow will be next Thursday, August 31, from 4:30-5:30 PM.

Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country team on their second place finish yesterday at the Three Rivers Big Hill Invite. They were only 8 points behind first place Marshall. Way to go, Trojans - Plainwell Pride!

This morning, we welcomed back our staff to kick-off the 2023/24 school year with breakfast and an opening ceremony at the PAC. Congratulations to the Varsity Soccer team on their 1-0 win against Gull Lake last night! The Trojans goal was scored by Kegan Braybrooks with an assist from Logan Beauregard. The defensive unit led by GK Andrew Eldred earned the shutout. Way to go, Trojans - Plainwell Pride!

Registration is open for the 2023 Junior Spikers Volleyball Program for girls 3rd-6th grade. The goal of the Spikers is to experience the sport, understand the rules and have fun! The PHS Soccer teams had their first home events of the season last night. The Boys Varsity Soccer team settled for a 1-1 tie against a tough St. Joseph team and the JV battled but came up short, 1-0. Thank you to all that came out to support the Trojans!

The PHS Golf team had their first competition of the season at the Wayland Invite today. Congratulations to the team on their 2nd place finish out of seven teams. Three of the PHS golfers were in the top 10 with Ayla Jaeger (freshman) shooting the best team score with a 79, her personal best. Way to go Trojans!

The Plainwell Middle School Cheer team had the opportunity to attend the Apex Cheer Camp. They learned a lot as a team and put in a lot of work to make the year great. Be sure to look for our Cheer team on the sidelines of the Middle School Football games this year! Trojan Pride!
