It's election day! Remember to vote in the election today (Tuesday, May 7)! The no tax rate increase bond would focus on five key areas:
- Safety & Security Improvements at all buildings to improve district safety and lockdown standards
- New Early Childhood Center to be located on Jersey Street to service birth to 4 year old children
- New Full Size Gymnasium Additions to Cooper and Gilkey Elementaries
- New Tennis Courts at PHS to replace the current courts that are at the end of their life cycle
- Completion of Current Projects

Students in Ms. Koenig’s CPR/First Aid class at PHS had a special presentation from the Michigan State Police Department yesterday. They had medical and trauma first aid training. It was a great learning experience, special thanks to the MSP troopers for sharing your knowledge with the Trojans!
Earlier this week the PHS Varsity Track team hosted a meet against Otsego where the boy’s won 81 to 56! Way to go, Trojans - PLAINWELL PRIDE!

Mrs. Beltowski' s Ceramic Class from PHS toured Frederick Meijer Gardens. Students were led through a guided tour of the sculpture park gaining an enriching art experience.
Registration is open for our upcoming Youth Golf Lessons at Lake Doster! Students will receive instruction & learn the fundamentals of the game of golf! Two sessions available - June 10-13 or July 8-11. Cost is $65 per athlete, per session.

The JV Boys Golf team competed in a tournament at The Legends in Hastings today. As a team, they finished in 3rd place, with two top 10 finishes by Reece Trahan (83) and Sawyer McCall (89). Way to go, Trojans!
Congratulations to the PHS Boys 4x800 team who won with a new invite record of 8:23.5 at the Kent City Invite today. Way to go, Trojans - PLAINWELL PRIDE!
Congratulations to the Girls Swim & Dive team who earned Academic All State Team Honors. This is given to teams that have a collective 3.5 GPA or higher. In addition, congratulations to the following seniors who earned Academic All State Individual Honors: Audrey MacQueen, Audrey Todd, Elizabeth French, Ella Way, Lily Inquilla, Liv Perrin and Sydney Harper. This award goes to seniors who have a 3.65 GPA or higher. Way to go Trojans, PLAINWELL PRIDE!
