
This week the Plainwell Middle School ECO Club met for their final meeting of the year. Students painted handprints on patio stones in the courtyard, finished setting up the irrigation system and planted herbs in the garden. In addition each student got to plant and take home their own indoor starter plants. Special thanks to Mrs. Sponsler-Andrasi, Ms. Colhurst and Mrs. Oostdyk for all their hard work with the ECO Club this year! Plainwell Pride!

PCS 1st-8th grade girls are invited to join us this summer for a Girls Summer Soccer Camp. Two sessions available! Both programs are run by PHS coaching staff & PHS girls soccer players. All proceeds from camp go to the PHS girls soccer program.

Congratulations to Plainwell’s 6th Grade Soccer team who went 8-0 this season! Out of the eight games they played, seven were shutouts. The team played in the 2nd highest division, playing older teams - Kalamazoo Cougars, Allegan and Stevenville Lakeshore. What a great season - GO TROJANS! ⚽️


SUMMER OUTINGS: Students in grades 3- 8 are invited to join us for a summer of fun while attending Plainwell Summer Outings with weekly adventures from June 26-30 and July 17-21. There are two exciting programs to choose from with five fun summer outings each. The cost is $200 per person/per program. The 8th graders from Plainwell Middle School had a great time at their 8th Grade Celebration last night where they enjoyed an ice cream truck, various activities, a Photo Booth, outside games, a DJ and sharing their memory boards. We wish the Class of 2027 all the best as they transition to High School…but for now, enjoy your last week of Middle School and summer break! ☀️ Thank you to all that made this event so special for our 8th graders - Trojan Pride!


Yesterday, the Plainwell Middle School 6th graders enjoyed a special STEM Day. They spent the afternoon completing various team activities at Streidl Field. It was a great day full of fun and adventure!


Congratulations to the nine Plainwell Middle School Track athletes who qualified for the MHSAA Regional Middle School track meet. Last week, they competed at Regionals and all nine set an individual PR or a Relay PR! Way to go, Trojans! 💙 Plainwell Pride! 💙


Another wall mural masterpiece is complete at Plainwell Middle School thanks to PHS 10th grader Sarah Lagenour. This incredible piece of art is painted in the 6th grade hallway. This is Sarah’s third mural at PMS and we are incredibly grateful to her for sharing her time and talents for all to enjoy for many years! Trojan Pride!

Attention Middle and High School athletes! Plainwell and Otsego High Schools are joining forces to offer FREE athletic physicals for the 2023/24 school year to PMS and PHS athletes on Wednesday, June 7 at Otsego High School. Doors open at 5:00 PM - physicals begin at 5:30 PM. You must be in line by 7:00 PM in order to receive a physical. Forms are available online and in the athletic office (please bring your completed and signed form with you). GO TROJANS!


Last week, the Middle School students had a Day of Awesomeness! This was a celebration for students that had at least $50 in donations for this year’s fundraiser. Each grade level spent 70 minutes doing various activities. Special thanks to all that contributed to the fundraiser and to the parent volunteers who helped supervise each of the stations. Way to go, PMS Trojans!


Thank you to the High School and 8th grade bands who served their community today by performing in the Memorial Day parade as well as at the service at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell. Great job, Plainwell bands! 🇺🇸

Last night, the Plainwell Middle School 7th grade, 8th grade and Jazz Bands performed at their “A Night at the Movies” spring concert. It was an amazing night filled with fantastic music. We are very proud of these musicians for their hard work preparing for this wonderful concert. Plainwell Pride!
