Join us for Lake Doster Golf Lessons where students will receive instruction & learn the fundamentals of the game of golf! Registration is open for all three sessions for beginners: Ages 7 to 15 and Intermediate: Ages 9 to 17. Cost is $65 per session. Clubs & balls are provided if golfers do not have their own. The Plainwell Middle School 6th grade band and jazz band had a wonderful concert tonight. The students have worked hard all year and gave an amazing performance at the Performing Arts Center.

The Plainwell Middle School 6th grade choir students had a great field trip to Miller Auditorium to see Madagascar with Ms. Quillian today. It was a great experience for these Trojans!


Plainwell Middle School 8th grade families, please mark your calendar for Friday, June 2 from 5-6:30 PM for the 8th Grade Celebration. Join us to celebrate the 8th grade class with celebration boards, followed by a special event for the 8th grade students which will include music, games, ice cream, a photobooth and lots of fun. The Plainwell Middle School 6th, 7th and 8th grade Choirs, along with the Honors Choir performed at the State Choir Festival. It was a wonderful day filled with amazing music performed by these talented Trojans! Plainwell Pride!


Throughout the district, we are celebrating our AMAZING staff! At Plainwell Middle School, they celebrated last week in many special ways. Their Parent Group had a massage therapist come in and the PMS staff could sign up for 15 minute massages. They also stocked a snack station and provided desserts. Staff were also treated to a special breakfast and a taco bar lunch provided by the Principal Stamos and Assistant Principal Manting.

Our Middle School Track team had a great competition against Edwardsburg last week. While they came up a little short, there were several athletes that broke middle school records. Special congratulations to:
- 70 Meter Dash - Alayna Ranney and Evi Coutu
- 200 Meter Dash - Alayna Ranney and Sylar Luckett
- 4x200 - Alayna Ranney, Erica Klein, Sylar Luckett and Evi Coutu
- 4x400 - Brady Lentz, Braeden Asbeury, Logan Swartz and Greyson Veltman

Today the Plainwell Middle School Michigan Exploration class took a field trip to the Allegan Event Center. It was a great day of exploring for these Trojans!

This evening, we held the Plainwell Middle School National Junior Honors Society Induction Ceremony at the Performing Arts Center. It was a wonderful ceremony, congratulations Trojans!

Our two Plainwell Middle School Robotics teams - Trial and Error & Bad Bananas - are having lots of fun and creating unbelievable memories during their time in Dallas for the World Championship Robotics Tournament! There are 488 middle school teams from around the world competing this week, with 12 teams from Michigan.
The recent on-the-scene-report from Dallas: “Both our teams experienced both wins and losses, but we never lost our fighting spirit”. Keep it up, Trojans! Plainwell Pride!


The Plainwell Middle School Tennis team’s season is underway! This week, they played against Otsego! Way to go, Trojans!


Yesterday, 12 Plainwell Middle School students competed against 100 other students from the State of Michigan in the MDOT TRAC Design and Build Bridge Challenge in Lansing, MI. The following PCS teams competed:
- Team Minions: Emma Rayman, Isabel VanderLugt, Faith Duncan
- Team Tech: Hunter Crouch, Jackson Drewyor, Landan Lofts
- Team Bridge Builders: Annelise Plumely, Cadence Landrum, Bryce Stoefler
- Team E=M2: Mai Nguyen, Malina Gonzalez, and Emma Brusselmans
Each team achieved their personal best for maximum load and strength to weight ratio and all received high scores on their oral presentations. A special recognition goes to team E=M2 for their 4th place finish. Way to go, Trojans!
