COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS: The Allegan County Health Department (ACHD) is offering COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics at Starr Elementary School. The next clinic is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, October 14) from 5-7:30 PM. The clinic will be held at Starr’s Gymnasium at 601 School Drive, Plainwell. Vaccine is available to anyone 12+ (parental/legal guardian consent required for minors). No appointment is needed - walk-ins welcome! Pfizer vaccine available to anyone 12+. GRAD BASH FUN RUN: Join the Grad Bash planning committee for a night of community fun at Streidl field on Friday, October 22 from 10 PM - 12 AM for their Full Moon Fun Run! Concessions will be open, Plainwell gear will be for sale and participants will enjoy a night of fun in support of the Grad Bash! This event is open to ALL ages. STAFF KICK-OFF: Earlier this week, we held our staff kick-off breakfast! Our Superintendent, Mr. Montange, was excited to welcome our returning PCS staff and greet our new team members! A very special thanks to the amazing team at PCS - each and every employee has a critical role in the education of Today’s Learners and Tomorrow’s Leaders - and we are so thankful for each of you!

TRANSPORTATION UPDATE: We are excited to begin the 2021/22 school year on Monday, August 30. Please take a moment to review these updates from our Transportation Department:
1. Bus route information will be shared on Friday, August 27.
2. If you do not have a designated bus stop listed on the transportation route, your student can go to the nearest bus stop to be picked-up. Please be aware that stops may be adjusted or updated based on overall ridership for each route.
3. Per CDC order, masks will be required for all students (K-12) and staff while riding school transportation.
