Congratulations to the PHS Track and Field team members who have advanced to the State Finals on June 3! - Thai Nguyen, Hiro Nguyen, Henry Cox and Isaac Veen qualified for the State Finals in the 3200 Meter Relay - Michael Griffey qualified for State and was the Regional Champion in both Shot Put and Discus - Ava Collier is the new Regional champion in Pole Vault and is headed to compete at the State Finals Way to go, Trojans - PLAINWELL PRIDE!

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team on their victory over St. Joseph last night in the first round of MHSAA Districts 5-0! Goals were scored by Kayla Baar (2), Laken Whittington, Alayna Eldred and Cayden Henckel. Assists were made by Whittington, Baar, Weldon and Eldred. The shutout goes to goalkeeper Eliza Harris. Great job! Next up, they move on to round 2, taking on Otsego at Lakeshore High School on Tuesday, May 30 at 5:00 PM. Go Trojans!

Gilkey Elementary held their Student and Staff of the Month ceremony. Each month, Gilkey teachers select one student and a staff member who they felt did an outstanding job throughout the month and the recipients are celebrated at a special award ceremony with their families. On Saturday, several students from Cooper, Gilkey and Starr Elementary Schools participated in Girls on the Run. Over the last 10 weeks they have been training and on Saturday, they all completed the 5K run. Way to go Koalas, Geckos and Rock Starrs!
