Join the PHS Girls Basketball team to support local families in our community during the holiday season. As a team, they will be collecting monetary donations that will go 100% towards the sponsorship of families in our community this holiday season. The goal is to provide families with a full Christmas dinner and gifts under their tree. Please join us on December 2 at the Plainwell Girls Basketball home opening game where we will be collecting monetary donations to support their Holiday Giveback! Please see a Girls Basketball player or coach for more information!
Students who provide a traditional Christmas dinner food item or monetary donation to the Holiday Giveback, will receive free admission to the game.
Thank you in advance for your support - Go Trojans!

This afternoon, the students at Cooper Elementary celebrated Thanksgiving in a special way. Thanks to a great idea from Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Laning, the students had their first Pie Day at Cooper. During the event, Mrs. Keorkunian (principal) read "One is a Feast For Mouse, A Thanksgiving Tale" over the intercom while all of the students in Preschool-5th Grade were seated at a makeshift table lining their main hallway. After the story was read, students and staff enjoyed pumpkin pie together. It was so much fun that Cooper plans to make this an annual tradition.

Students in Ms. Francomb’s Young Fives class at Starr Elementary have been learning about what the word "thankful" means. Yesterday they made "Thankful Turkeys". Each feather has a picture of something they are thankful or happy for at school or home!

As a reminder, there is no school from Wednesday, November 23-Friday, November 25 for Thanksgiving Break. We wish our students, staff, families and community a wonderful Thanksgiving!
